Highly recommend Eecard Excavating. Had some septic issues at my home, was given Eccard Excavating’s name from Affordable Septic Service in Lancaster, Oh. Eccard came out the next day and diagnosed the issue as well as trying a few things to try to resolve the problem first without bringing equipment out. My issue did call for some small excavation work but was not nearly as scary or expensive as I had imagined. My issues were handled in a professional and knowledgeable manner and stayed within scope of needed work. I am so relieved that everything is now fixed and up to code and stayed within my budget. Everyone was prompt, knowledgeable as well as comforting in an ugly situation (septic issues aren’t the most pretty). Eccard fixed my issue and Affordable Septic came same day and they both worked great together. Highly recommend them as they are honest, reliable, professional and fair. 5 stars!
We bought a piece of land and hired Eccard Excavating for our septic and grading. We quickly realized pooling water was an issue on our lot. Cody and his team designed and implemented drainage that has worked awesome at keeping our basement dry even when we got 2 inches of rain in one day. We are very happy with our completed project.
After having a few contractors come out and look at how to improve drainage in our back yard over the past few years, we are still waiting for a quote from all of them. Then came a recommendation from a neighbor to contact Cody at Eccard Excavating. Cody made time to come out early in 2020 and discuss what we wanted to do. We had a quote within a week and a tentative schedule already planned out for mid-summer. With our drainage being in a preservation easement, we had a setback with the Corps of Engineers and had to push the project to October. Cody worked with his schedule to make the time frame work between a few of his other projects. When it came time to do the job, Cody was very proactive in communication, letting us know when he’d be here, if he got set back, and if he had to run to another site for a few days. He was efficient in his work, did exactly what he said he would do (and a little more!), and is one of the nicest guys you can meet. I’d recommend Eccard Excavating to anyone, and I am very pleased with Cody’s work. I plan on having him service our septic moving forward as well! Thanks, Cody!

I needed to replace our septic tank distribution box that had deteriorated over the years. I dug it up and did as much as I could do, then realized I need a bit more assistance. Cody was recommended to me via a friend and I called him on Friday afternoon (non emergency) and described our problem. He was able to come out today, (Monday) He installed a Polylok valve for me on the input and 2 outflow pipes (and thus ridding us of having a distribution box) – he arrived at the time he said he would, was very friendly and affable.
